I disagree that this is a lose-lose game for DD. Given State's recent history(egg laying against P4 opponents on the road) and Vandy's recent history(10 wins last year, Heisman runner up) only the most negative of fans would "yeah, but" this one if the pack wins
True, but opinions on a team can flip from year to year. Vanderbilt's historical average could cause some to see the Pavia era as a blip before they return to their mean. We won't know for sure until we see how they do against their conference schedule.
