Being a Wolfpack fan is good for your character. It is easy to be a bandwagon jumper or a Duke fan where winning comes easily. Now you have the material to write a tragedy or sing the blues. The character part comes when you hang in there and don’t give up. My son went to Virginia Tech and he told me that the Hokies have never won a national championship in ANY sport. The Wolfpack have, women’s cross country just last year for example. So celebrate the wins and let the disasters roll off!
That's 100% true. It really stings, but it makes moments like the Final Four run feel that much sweeter. That's a crazy stat for VT, that school was my sliding doors moment between picking where to go.
