2024 Week 12 Predictions - NC State @ Chapel Hill Community College

Here we are, mercifully at the last game in the regular season. Where we once started with such promise, we quickly took a violent turn towards disaster. What is left to play for at this point? Here are the top 5 things:


  1. Potential bowl eligibility, yes, but given the way things are breaking out around the country, finishing at .500 will not guarantee you being selected to a bowl even if eligible.

  2. There's simply pride in not finishing with a losing season.

  3. Beating UNC and ruining not only their senior day but also the final day of coaching for one of the top 20 most winningest coaches in NCAA history who also is here as a lame duck to give the impression that things are under control over on that hill. I mean, if you got fired from your job would you still show up to help them out to close out a big project?

  4. Bragging rights to continue the dominance over UNC for the better part of a decade. It has been one area Dave Doeren does not get enough credit for.

  5. That's it, the list is only 4 parts long, not much left at this point, not even our own dignity.

This one honestly might be my greatest creation yet, a small bright spot in this otherwise bleak season. I particularly love how the AI just inherently knew to give the wolf a pilgrim hat. Nice touch, AI.
