Week 4 Predictions - NC State @ UVA

NC State is coming off a dominant win against an admittedly weaker opponent in VMI, winning 45-7. Even in that kind of game, there are things that the Wolfpack did well and others they need to work on. Those have been discussed in great detail, so now the Pack looks forward to opening ACC play in a Friday night matchup in Charlottesville against Virginia.

Remember, this is a Friday night game this week, 7:30pm kickoff on September 22, 2023 over on ESPN.

Alec Lower	31-10 (W)	I'm buying. I'm a believer. UConn set me back but I was thoroughly convinced after Notre Dame that this team can win a lot of games if it can cut out the obvious mental errors. Virginia looks pretty rough. Don't make me look like a fool, State.
Essad Malik	24-14 (W)	I'm nervous about this one, but I'm nervous about most State games. This one feels like a trap, but State is the more talented team so they SHOULD win comfortably. I just wish I was confident they could put up >30 points in a game against ACC level opponents. I'm willing to have them prove me wrong though.
Trey Lower	28-17 (W)	First conference game on the road? In prime time (has Deion trademarked this yet)? Makes me a little nervous. Brennan will try to play out of his mind in his last time at Scott Stadium and the defense gives up another chunk play or two, but I think NC State is just a better football team
